We at Claire’s have worked hard to create a safe online environment for both children and adults. We only collect and save personally identifiable information about adults who purchase Claire’s gift cards. Claire’s will use the information you provide when purchasing a gift card to fulfill your request. We may also use your information to send you additional information about our company or products in which we believe you may be interested, or for other purposes described in this section, below. The information you provide to us to send an e-card or your wish list is used only to respond to that request. After the e-mail is sent, the information you provided is deleted. Because usernames and passwords are anonymous, children may create wish lists without providing us with any personally identifiable information. We use the non-identifiable information users record in their wish lists to learn more about the products our customers prefer, and about trends in the marketplace. Should we request and store personally identifiable information from children in the future, we will not do so without first obtaining prior verifiable parental consent, and otherwise complying with the COPPA Rule.

Claire’s uses your information to notify you about new features, products or services we may make available from time to time; to customize your experience on our site; and to improve our features, products and services. We may notify you about contests and promotions, we may ask that you complete customer surveys, we may send you newsletters or other of our promotional pieces, or we may notify you about third party products or services in which we believe you may be interested. Parents, we do not currently store any information about children under 13. However, should we collect and store such information in the future, not only will we not collect and store such information without first obtaining your verifiable consent, we will also make sure to provide you with the ability to review the information your child provides, and have it deleted if you so wish (as is required by the COPPA Rule).

The importance of security for all personally identifiable information associated with our users is of utmost importance to us.
